My third destination will be Vietnam. I wish...hehehe, this journey will be different 'cause i have friend with me. Will be my first journey abroad with friends in union.

First you must plan your route. Learn these Flight also to give you more view of planning.

• Vietnam. Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh. Jet Star, Vietnam Airlines.

• Malaysia - Indonesia. Kuala Lumpur - Jakarta. Air Asia, Lion Air, Garuda
• Singapore - Indonesia. Air Asia, Jet Star, Garuda, Batavia

Combination.

1. Jakarta -> Ho Chi MInh. Hanoi -> Ho Chi Minh, Ho Chi Minh - Jakarta.
2. Jakarta -> Ho Chi Minh. Hanoi -> Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur -> Jakarta
3. Jakarta -> Ho Chi Minh. Hanoi -> Singapore. Singapore - Jakarta

After learn the schedule, i plan to find this flight. Jakarta ----> Kuala Lumpur (8.30 CGK-11.30 KUL), Kuala Lumpur ---> Ho Chi Minh City (14.55 KUL-15.45 SGN). Fly back route Ho Chi Minh City ---> Kuala Lumpur (10.40 SGN-13.30 KUL) or Ho Chi Minh City ---> Jakarta (20.20 SGN - 23.25 CGK)

Hotel or hostel? For budget hotel/hostel, you can search on Hostel World or Hostel. After do research, i prefer these hostel, find these more Ngog Thao GuestHouse (US$ 21/2 person), Vy Khanh Hostel (US$ 18/2 person), Ngoclinh Hotel (US$ 22/2 person), Kim Hotel (US$ 20/2 person)

Now, let's talk about schedule. Maybe it won't be enough to explore Vietnam for few  days, but for first journey, for budget trip, it's quite enough for 3 days, 2 night.

Day 1: Arrival - Ho Chi Minh City (D)
From Tan Son Nhat Airport to your hotel or visit to these places directly : Reunification Palace (Open Hours 7.30-11 am & 1-4 pm; Entry Ticket 15.000 VDN), War Museum (Open Hours 7.30-11 am & 1-4.30 pm; Entry Ticket 15.000 VDN). You can get your hotel then or continue to Ben Thanh Market, Jami'ah Mosque, Notre Dame Cathedral. All places around Ben Thanh Market which is near from Bus Station Ben Thanh.

For next day, suggest you to get more information from travel agent at your hostel/hotel. Or book for a motorcycle and order a route. Well prepared will help you because not all people in vietnam could understand english.

Airport Bus in front of Domestic Airport. Use bus no 152 to reach Pham Ngu Lao St (backpackers area) and end at Bus Station Ben Thanh. Bus operates 7 am-7 pm. Price for city bus is same, VDN 3.000.

Day 2: Mekong Delta (B/L/D)
Take Mekong Delta trip. Cruising along river to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural natural setting of Mekong Delta region. Mekong Delta 1 day trip is $9/pax.

Another journey, visit to the head quarter of Cao Dai religious, you will have a chance to witness the daily ceremony at Cao Dai Holy See, and meet followers come to attend the ceremony wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism. Having lunch at a local restaurant then continue the trip to Cu Chi, visit the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight at Ho Chi Minh City. Cao Dai temple and Cu Chi tunnels is $7/pax. Cu Ci tunnels half day trip is $5/pax

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)
At leisure for shopping until transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport.

If you have many days at Vietnam, maybe you can visit hanoi with trains, plane, bus.

Tips :

• Prepare your money in USD $. After arrival, change your money to vietnam. 1 USD $ = 18.000 VDN
• Prepare your schedule, not all vietnam people understand english. Write at paper, give them to understand your destination.
  
• Taxi. Use Man Linh taxi or Vinasun taxi for safety

• Food and water/drink are separated sold at 'kaki lima' Vietnam.
